Kylie is certified Barre Instructor with BarreAbove. Barre is a hybrid workout class combining ballet inspired moves with elements of pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Most classes incorporate a ballet barre for proper form and use classic dance moves such as plies, alongside static stretches. Barre also focuses on high reps of small range movements to help lean and tone even the smallest of muscles. Kylie likes to bring her own creative twist to the workout and you can expect a fun, new workout everytime that will help you strengthen, tone, sculpt, and build your endurance all while jamming out to a killer playlist!

Zumba is a fun and energetic combination of dance and fitness. It is mainly focused on Latin rhythms and dances including but not limited to Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and Reggeaton but also involves other international dances such as belly dance. This class will be lead by Zumba instructor Abby Leger. Abby took her first Zumba class in 2016 and immediately fell in love with it. Since then she has earned her basic 1 and basic 2 certifications and explored some of the fantastic rhythms that make Zumba so much fun.
Cost: $15/class, $20/two classes or $25/three classes
The reunion series are master classes that are for intermediate through advanced level dancers. All dancers are welcome! This is a great opportunity to come take a master class from different teachers, meet dancers from other studios and become more involved with dance.
NEW CLASSES COMING SOON!
Dana Clarke is a 21 year old dancer from East Hartford, Connecticut. He started dancing in 2009 at the age of 11 years old. At that time Dana was attending R.J. Kinsella Magnet school of the Performing Arts middle school. While there he danced in various plays and school talent shows. After middle school he auditioned for a summer program at the Hartford Stage and performed in the show Breakdancing Shakespeare for four years. Since then he went on to join Kalligraphy, a dance crew that has competed in a number of highly competitive competitions including World of Dance and Prelude. Dana’s overall mission is to simply entertain people and share his love for dance with as many people as possible.
Stephanie is the owner and artistic director of CT Dance Hub LLC, founded in the summer of 2019. She has a BA in Dance and has taught dance within CT for over 13 years. Now that she has her own studio she is focusing to share dance knowledge and bring dancers together to build a stronger dance community in CT. Stephanie's contemporary class has a strong focus on technique, transitions and musicality. Dancers will learn the choreography and learn to dance it, to create a movement meaningful for themselves. Her tap class focuses on technique during warm up and across the floor while her combos focus on rhythm and musicality. She likes to tap in both swing and straight time. Changing between the two will encourage students to really listen to the music and helps strengthen musicality.
