2024-2025 Studio Closings

CLASS INFORMATION

Information on weekly dance classes, placement and levels, observation week, attendance, studio closings or class cancellations and summer/fall schedules.

 

Classes

There is a minimum number of students needed to hold a class. If the minimum number of students is not met, the class will be cancelled. The class schedule is subject to change as it may need to be adjusted depending on the number of students signed up for each class.

 

Placement & Levels

Students will be placed into the appropriate level class by our teachers. Levels are determined by age, experience and skill level. At the end of the year, our teachers will decide if each student should remain in the same level or proceed to the next level. It is not guaranteed that your child will move up a level because of their age or because others in the class moved up. We have the dancer’s best interest in mind when making these decisions so please trust our judgement.

 

Observation Week

We have an observation window where we allow Parents to view classes from the lobby. Most days the curtains will be shut however there will be days when we open the curtains. Parents will also be invited into the classroom from time to time to watch some of the things the dancers have been working on. It is important for you as parents to see how your child is progressing which is why we have the observation window and we invite you into the studio.

 

Attendance

It is your responsibility to ensure your child makes it to class each week. If your child is going to be late or cannot attend that day, please call the studio or send us an email to let us know. There will be no refunds for missed classes. If a student misses a class, they can make up the class by attending a different class similar to their level. The teacher will be able to provide the classes that are available for make-ups. If your child does not attend class three weeks in a row without notification, we will assume the child is no longer coming to class and will cancel enrollment if we do not hear from a parent. Students should be on time and picked up promptly after class.

Studio Closings/Class Cancellations

Studio Closings will be posted on social media and an email will be sent out to parents informing them of the studio closing. If a class is cancelled unexpectedly, all parents/students affected will be contacted via email and a text will be sent through our notification system.
