DRESS CODE

Dress code is strictly enforced and dancers should come to class with the correct attire. Dress code varies per class.

 

Combo Classes (ages 3-4)

Pink leotard/pink tights and pink full sole, no tie ballet shoes for girls (either no skirt or attached skirts are allowed)

White tee shirt/black dance pants and black full sole ballet shoes for boys

Capezio Jr Tyette tap shoes or No-Tie tap shoe for girls and Capezio Teletone tap shoes boys

Hair secured back

*Class attire including leotards, tights & shoes are available on our online store & in studio for items in stock

Combo Classes (ages 5-6)

Lavender leotard/pink tights and pink full sole, no-tie ballet shoes for girls (no ballet skirts or tutus)

White tee shirt/black dance pants and black full sole ballet shoes for boys

Capezio Jr Tyette tap shoes, No-Tie tap shoes or buckle tap shoes for girls and Capezio Teletone tap shoes boys

Tan slip on jazz shoes, order in studio or either Block SO495/Capezio EJ2 from dance store

Hair secured back

Beginner Ballet (Ballet I & Ballet II)

Black leotard/pink tights (no ballet skirts or tutus)

Pink full sole ballet shoes for girls in Ballet I or pink split sole ballet shoes for girls in Ballet II

Solid color tee shirt/black dance pants and black ballet shoes for boys

Hair secured in a neat bun

*Class attire including leotards, tights & shoes are available on our online store & in studio for items in stock

Jazz (all levels)

Leotard & shorts or sports bra/dance top & shorts/leggings for girls

Tee shirt/tank top & shorts/pants (no jeans) for boys

Combo classes & Jazz I - Tan slip on jazz shoe

Jazz II - Black slip on jazz shoe

Hair secured back

*jazz shoes available for purchase on our online store or in the studio

Lyrical/Contemporary (all levels)

Leotard & shorts or sports bra/dance top & shorts/leggings for girls

Tee shirt/tank top & shorts/pants (no jeans) for boys

Half sole pirouettes (color should match skin tone)

Hair secured back

Tap (all levels)

Comfortable dance attire, tee shirts and tank tops allowed (no jeans)

Tap shoes:

• Combo Classes (ages 3-4)- Black Capezio Jr Tyette tap shoes or No-Tie tap shoes

• Combo Classes (ages 5-6)- Black Maryjane buckle tap shoes

• Tap I & Tap II- Black tie tap shoe

• Tap III- Black tie tap shoe, recommended to go to local dance store to get a better tap shoe

• Advanced Tap- Block Respect or Jason Samuels (recommended)

• *Block Respects not recommended for dancers with high arches

Hip hop (all levels)

Comfortable dance attire, tee shirts and tank tops allowed (no jeans)

Hair secured back

Clean Sneakers (should not be worn outside)

Acro (all levels)

Leotard & shorts/Biketard or sports bra/dance top & shorts/leggings for girls

Tee shirt/tank top & shorts or pants (no jeans) for boys

No shoes
