RECITAL INFO

2024 Recital Info

​

When:
Dress Rehearsal- Saturday, May 18th (9:30am-2pm)

  • Finale dancers arrive between 9:00am-9:15am

    • For dress rehearsal we will start with Finale but at the recital, Finale is the last dance of the recital​

  • Act I dancers arrive between 9:15am-9:30am

  • Act II dancers arrive between 10:15am-10:30am

All dancers should come in their first costume with hair and makeup done. Dancers can leave dress rehearsal after all of their dances have gone. At the recital, all dancers will remain back stage until the end of the show.

Parents and family friends can take as many photos as you would like at dress rehearsal. There is NO photography or videography at the recital. 


Dance Recital- Sunday, May 19th (9:00am-1:00pm)

  • All dancers must arrive by 9:00am, with the exception of the preschool Monday, Ballet/Tap class 5:00pm-5:45pm. 

  • Preschool Monday, Ballet/Tap class 5:00pm-5:45pm dancers need to be backstage at 9:30am. Please pack them a water and light, non-messy snack to bring with them.

  • Dancers are invited to watch the slideshow which we will be running at 9:15am before doors open.

  • Doors will open at 9:30am for the audience

  • Volunteers should arrive at 9:00am

Doors open to the audience at 9:30am. Tickets will be sold at the door for $15 per ticket.

We have a new videographer this year! Recital videos are on sale via the Parent Portal Store, for $30 per family. Videos will be a direct download for those who wish to purchase it.

What is Finale? It is the last dance of the dance recital & is optional

Who can participate? Any dancer 7 years old and up

When are rehearsals?

  • Saturday, April 20th 9:00am-11:00am

  • Saturday, April 27th 9:00am-11:00am

  • Saturday, May 4th 9:00am-11:00am

  • Saturday, May 11th 9:00am-11:00am

Do dancers have to come to all rehearsals? Yes

How much does it cost? Finale is free

Attire for Recital? A recital tee shirt, black leggings and sneakers

When can I sign up? April 1st on the Parent Portal, sign up by April 15th

Father/Daughter Dance

Who can participate?
Any dancer (age 6 & older) that is already in the recital can participate.

If Dad is Not Available?
If your dancer's father is not available to participate in the recital, they are welcome to invite their grandpa, uncle, guardian or close family friend to be their dance partner.

When are rehearsals?

  • Saturday, April 20th 11:15am-12:00pm

  • Saturday, April 27th 11:15am-12:00pm

  • Saturday, May 4th 11:15am-12:00pm

  • Saturday, May 11th 11:15am-12:00pm

Attire for the Recital
Dads are recommended to wear a button down shirt with dress pants or khakis along with your shoes of choice. Daughters can wear a dress and shoes of their choice and be sure to have shorts or a leotard underneath.

When can I sign up? April 1st on the Parent Portal, sign up by April 15th

What is the cost? $50 per couple
